Do I have a chance of going here?

During my senior year, I applied to a college and got an early acceptance. However, halfway through my senior year I got pregnant and my daughter is due in September, right around the time I would start my freshman year of college. So I didn’t accept, but I also didn’t turn down my acceptance because I was so torn up about not being able to start college like I planned. I really want to go to this school, it’s everything I could ask for in a college. Because I never replied to the acceptance, have I ruined my chances of ever going there or is there still a possibility that if I reapplied, I would be accepted again? I plan to start college Fall 2016.

You can reapply without worrying about this. They likely don’t even track that. If you like, you can say in the Additional Information section that you would have liked to attend when you were originally accepted but you had a life event having a child that caused you to have to wait. I wonder if it was a school that would have deferred your acceptance for a year–many publics don’t but privates often do. They know that people who don’t apply by the due date aren’t coming. In future it is better to take care of business and it will serve you better to tie up loose ends. Be sure when you do go to school that you read the student handbook and understand about taking care of business as far as dropping classes by the due date and read the policy on satisfactory academic progress so you can be in compliance.

As far as I know you could certainly re-apply and be accepted once more. If they hold that against you I’d honestly be really surprised.
