<p>I am a student from India. I have already passed my 12th Exams from CBSE board. I want to get admitted in Computer Science department. Please analyse my chances at

<p>Academics:
10th from ICSE - 88.2%
12th from CBSE- 72% (75.25% in best of four) (Just fumbled in my 12th boards exam... had been a good student of my class and school, which is one of the best in my City)
Top 5% of my class of 150 students
91.2% in Hindustan Times Knowledge Index Test in 2001 (when I was in 9th grade)</p>

<p>SAT Tests not given yet but expecting 2200+ in SAT I and 800 each in SAT II Maths IIC, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Also, I am expecting very good recommendations from my school teachers.</p>

<p>ronty - From the information you've provided it's impossible for me to comment on your chances. It would be easier if your qualifications were presented in a manner consistent with those in the "Chances" section of this web site. (For example, very few parents on this site know what a School House Captain is.) I would also give some more thought to the colleges on your list. Some are (relatively) weak in Computer Science compared to, say, Carnegie Mellon or the University of Illinois.</p>

<p>NewHope is correct - without test scores and an understanding of what your grades mean in the context of US schools, it's hard to comment on your chances. Frankly, while you may think you can get perfect scores on the SATs, until you actually have them in hand, it is probably best to assume you will score lower as very, very few students do as well as you predict yourself doing. It would also be important to know if you need financial aid as some of the schools on your list are not need bllind for internationals so needing aid could play a role in your chances.</p>
