DO i have a chance so far ? thanks

<p>hey, im 15 years old and looking foward to attending columbia university, yale and cornell
I know it is kind of early to be thinking about college, but personally i am a person who like to think ahead and plan.</p>

<p>I would like to know would columbia consider me ?
I took 2 SAT II's this june
I took Bio E = 610 and Wrld History = 490 [ I noe not too good ]
i was not in bio honors but was supposed to be. My teacher said for me to get above a 600 is good.
I have to take Us history since i am taking honors</p>

<p>MY GPA : im not too sure. but my report card said 96 average
i don't know if that is good
I have had perfect attendance since 1st grade [ no lie ] my records prove it lol
I have maintained 1st honors since 1st grade up untill Sophomore year.
I am about to become a junior
I also have APL [ Academic performance leauge ] since i started high shcool</p>

<p>EC'
Freshman Year : Metro Club / Tennis Club / Student council / 40 hrs of community service [ at home ]
Sophomore year : ultimate frisbee / spanish club / metro club / tennis club / student council [ homeroomm VP ] / 40 hrs of community service [ at school ]
* i have also particpated in various events
I am in NHS [ sophomore year since that is the earliest you can get in ]</p>

<p>I am also in
WHo's who among american high school students
National High school scholars
I have had a poem published in an anthology book</p>

<p>Junior year i will be volunterring in Columbia presbyterian hospital for over 140 hours [ requierment]</p>

<p>so far do i have a chance , i will be taking psat's in oct.</p>

<p>THANK YOU FOR READING =] and please be honest</p>

<p>Nope. (ten char)</p>

<p>SAT IIs > 700 = good
Perfect attendance = doesn't matter.
ECs are not too bad, but I don't see leadership positions.
Who's Who and Nat'l HS Scholars = not prestigious awards and pretty much everyone who has decent grades gets sent this.</p>

<p>If you can improve your standardized test scores, get leadership positions, get some more state and national level awards, you will then become a typical applicant in the admissions pool.</p>

<p>"I would like to know would columbia consider me ?"</p>

<p>im surprised you havent been attacked by a yalie yet</p>

Man, I wish I were talented enough to attend three universities at the same time. You must be a total beast.</p>

<p>Seriously...it's too early to tell. You seem to be doing quite well for one year done. Try to find some things that really interest you and pursue them accordingly. Don't try to do as many ECs as possible - just focus on what you enjoy doing. Keep the grades up, see how you the PSAT goes, and re-evaluate from there.</p>

<p>Good luck.</p>

<p>thanks guys .. dont worry senior yr im aiming for senior class president</p>

<p>THANKS everyone =]</p>
