<p>Some of you guys might be sick of these kind of threads but I'm just really really curious and anxious.. UCLA is my dream school and I'm trying hard to get in. Can you guys please tell me if I have a good chance in getting in?</p>

California Scholarship Federation- four years
Unicef Club- three years, secretary
Interact Club- two years, Treasurer<br>
Volunteer- Senior Center for four years almost every week</p>

<p>I know there's still the essays and that they're really important..but just considering what I put above, do i have a chance?</p>
<p>If you are in-state than you are in. If you are out of state, than you still have a pretty decent shot. Good GPA, solid SAT, and good E.C.'s should put u in the running to get accepted.</p>
<p>That’s a little optimistic. If the above numbers are your UC GPA, you have the average GPA of admitted students but about 40 SAT points less than the average admit. You’re certainly in the running, but it’s not a given, especially this year when they will probably take fewer freshmen than they have in recent years.</p>
<p>Oh, I thought I read 2110 SAT. Sorry. You should still be in good shape with a 2010, but you should try and retake it and score a little higher, your GPA/E.C.'s are well off though.</p>
<p>Because… I’m assuming you’re Korean. It’s the same for Chinese-speaking kids. Getting an 800 on Chinese is more expected than anything else – these people just assume you magically are born with these skills. It’s racist but I wouldn’t say there’s no justification at all whatsoever. Regardless, take other SAT IIs and do well if you can. UCs are rather indifferent to this though, so it’s cool with them.</p>
