Do I have a chance with getting into MIT?

Hello,
I am Turkish and have lived in the U.S. for seven years. I really really want to go to MIT. Do you think I have a chance? Thanks.

9th grade: Georgetown Summer Program
10th grade: Brown University Summer Program
11th grade: Harvard Secondary Summer Program

AP's:
Although my school doesn't offer AP courses I am going to take the following in my senior year:
AP Calculus BC
AP Biology
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP Chemistry

Honors and Awards:
In Turkey there are no honors or awards that are given for school work. We have a curriculum that every turkish school has to follow. I have certificates from the end of every semester that I got a GPA higher than 3.5 (out of 4). My GPA is 4.0 out of 4.0

Extracurriculars:
I have been on the schools soccer and sailing team since freshman year.
I have been on the photography club since junior year.
I have a been elected school president this year.
I have been in in the MUN club since freshman year.
I have been playing soccer out of school for 8 years. My team has been regional champions for the last two years
I have been sailing for 7 years. I am on one of the best sailing teams in the country.
I play the guitar as a hobby.

Work and Volunteer Experience:
Volunteering:
Mass. General Hospital (Junior year)
Helping raise money to build two schools (4 years)
Helping raise money to make homes for people in need (since February)
Have been a volunteer at Turkish leukemia foundations since freshman year

Internship:
Biomed firm at Bosphorus University ( Since the end of sophomore year)
Worked with an Orthopedist (summer of 2013 and summer of 2014)

My interview went much better than I expected.

Standarized Testing:
Toefl: 109
ACT: 32
Subjects:
SAT MATH 1: 800
SAT MATH 2: 770
SAT Bio/E: 770

Your ACT makes you a strong applicant. However, MIT is very selective. I say you have a great chance of getting though.
Best of Luck! Chance me back please

Seems like you are a foreigner. I will post assuming you are an international student.

<5% of international students have been accepted for last several year
MIT is a reach for anyone, and almost all applicants will have similar or better tests scores and GPA. It will be even tougher for international kids.

While ACT 32 is not bad, it would be better to have at least 34+ in MIT, with Math section 35 or 36.

Also, many applicants will have at least one internship. Not trying to downplay your achievement, MIT s heavily STEM oriented, and-sorry-your ECs don’t really stand out comparing to other applicants. Even if you are a citizen, it will be VERY tough.

High, High reach.

Your ACT score could be improved, but everything else seems good. However MIT is still a reach - it’s a reach for anyone - so make sure you have backups ;D

@YigitKilic - I’m confused by the mix of both Turkish and American ECs during your high school years. You said you lived in the US for 7 years, but only mention a Turkish HS. Are you a US permanent resident or citizen, or will you be applying as an international?

I don’t think attending these summer programs provides a boost at elite schools…they mostly indicate that someone had the money to pay the tuition, thus factoring them into admissions decisions would discriminate against applicants whose families could not afford them.

@‌BldrDad I’m a dual citizen i come and go to the US every summer. Thats why I have both Turkish and American ECs.

Were you elected school president in us school or Turkish school @YigitKilic‌
