Have 12 semester hours college credit with 4.0 gpa

Hooks:
African American, diagnosed with Glycogen Storage Disease V a few months ago (not really bad...just can't run marathons or lift weights), attend an exceptional magnet school (which will hopefully explain for my low gpa and rank), premed/EMT program...have hours and hours of clinical experience....Lifeguard for 2 years....went to England with people to people student ambassadors...and I am a 3 year grad (I am graduating as a junior)...

What are my chances (little to none, low, medium, high, very high)?

I am assuming male. If so you are a significantly URM, and that makes it hard to predict. My best guess is C-M being a big reach, Tulane a small one, UT I don’t know, the rest you should be in.

Well, if the app fee is no problem for your family, then sure you should apply if you really think that is the right school for you. If you get accepted it would be a wonderful surprise, and if you don’t it is always disappointing of course, but at least you won’t be caught off-guard.

Have you visited C-M? Just curious, why do you feel so strongly about going there? Same for Tulane, have you visited? I am asking because they are #1-2 on your list, but they are fairly different schools in many ways.

I toured their websites if that counts? lol But no, I’m going on college tours this weekend…I will see all of the universities on the list except CM. I’m also going to see Trinity University.
