You GPA is a bit low for Columbia, as are your test scores. I suggest that you don’t send in your ACT score; your SAT is higher. Your ECs aren’t too outstanding either. Do you have any hooks? As I’m sure you know, Columbia admissions are pretty unpredictable. You should definitely apply if you can, especially if you have an amazing essay/outstanding recs.

^Columbia requires that you send all test scores from all test dates.

OP, send in your ACT score.

In general, you should submit all test scores to Columbia. There is, however, one exception. If you take the ACT multiple times, you need only submit the highest score (though you should self-report the others). Columbia says:

“Students should officially submit all scores from all sittings of the SAT and SAT Subject Tests. Students may submit only their highest ACT composite score officially and self-report other ACT scores by adding them to the Additional Information section of the application. While the College Board sends a cumulative record of all testing for one fee, the ACT requires separate fees for each test date; we do not want ACT takers to incur greater costs, so applicants may officially report only their highest ACT Composite (with subscores) and self-report all other ACT scores.”

what’s wrong with ironman’s gpa? it’s possible that his or her school is really competitive
