Gulp… You have a wonderful list of APs, good-ish scores, but Wgpa isn’t really great. Your ECs are good, but (and here’s why I gulped)… what makes you stand out? Where’s your leadership??? Why are your essays steller? In my experience, D really favors legacy and jocks and leaders. How do you standout?

Well, I have been the Senior Patrol leader for my boy scout troop for several years and I am on the steering committee of my school’s National Honor Society.

ACT is average, SAT II’s are solid, Rank is a little lacking (but not a big deal at all), and a strong senior courseload. If you have positions in some of those extracurriculars, and you have an interesting/passionate essay about a few of the extracurics, then you have a good chance :D

Your scores are a bit above average but nothing eye popping. Of course, that’s fine if you are able to supplement them with outstanding extracurriculars, experiences, leadership positions (those are huge), etc. If you started something on your own and led others in the process, be sure to mention that to the school. Dartmouth’s one of the best schools in the world; they don’t want just another smart kid. They want a kid who’s willing to think way outside the box, change the world, and have people following him in the process. Essays and the interview are extremely important…show them that you’re PASSIONATE!!
