Do I have a Chance?

I just want to know the chances of me getting into Harvard.

GPA: 3.981/4.0

My school works on tri-mester system, so I can't take as many classes.

Current AP's taken (Im a junior): US gov, US history, AP English Language

Plan to take: AP Micro/Macroeconomics (2 classes), AP Spanish, AP Physics, AP Calculus BC.

Current ACT Score: 33
Current SAT Score: 2280

SAT 2: Math 2: 760
SAT 2: US History: 760

National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalist
Michigan Math Prize Competition, TOP 200 Placement.

14 Grade 1 ratings from District and State Solo Ensemble,

Extra-curriculars:

Ability: Computer Programming (C, C++ and Objective C) -(intermediate)-
Online Visual Arts (Using graphic tablets).

Probably not. You are a great candidate, but you lack any impressive EC’s. E.g. winning some piano competition at Julliard or whatever interests you.

If you eliminate the “common” stats from your profile, you are left with…nothing. What the poster above me said - you don’t have any " hooks".

meh.

sorry, but ACT is only semi-decent, 3 APs wont cut it, top 200 in michigan is probably not worth much (unless there are like ten million people in michigan, which i doubt), and “participation” in anything really doesn’t count for anything, unless it’s USA_O. plus, for volunteer hours to be worth anything at all to harvard, only >500 will really catch anyone’s attention. (i speak from personal experience; my friend had well over a thousand service hours and was rejected).

What is your ethnicity?
