Sprinter:

The resume you posted is solid. With these scores, you have a good chance for any college in the US. I think you already know that.

Just curious – what do you think your chances are? What do you see as your strengths? What do you see as your weaknesses?

Thanks seattlebulldog and zephyr15 :)

I really don’t know what my chances are because I’ve heard it is a crapshoot to get into the top schools.

Fair enough – it is a crap shoot. Cornell, for example, admits about 20% of their applicants. Princeton, about 8%. With admissions rates such as these, there is no guarantee of any individual school – which is why, unless you get in somewhere Early Decision, you apply to more than one.

I haven’t seen your essays or recommendations, but based purely on what you’ve shown us, If you apply to 5 or so of the top 15 or 20 schools, I would be absolutely shocked if you didn’t get into at least one. I would not be surprised at all if you got into every school to which you apply.

You’re qualified; whether you get in or not will depend on your essays and how well the adcoms think you’d fit in.

I agree with zephyr15 and WongTongTong. It’s all in the essays.

Thank You all :)

Wow, so impressive… you are really competitive, definitely have a shot~!
