i want to be an engineer. I’m a rising senior at my local public school. i have taken high math and science classes all through high school. my SAT scores might be a little low i got 580-reading 720-math and 620- writing. i’m planning on applying ED. but i am starting to wonder if i can even get in. please someone give em advice.</p>

<p>I applied EDI last year and got in. I was in the same boat as you - public high school, high math/science classes, but low SAT scores (even lower than yours, tbh). Applying ED definitely tells the school that you are very interested and devoted in the school. If you haven’t started the CommonApp already, do so. In Bucknell’s supplement, I advise doing the ‘Optional Essay’. It really shows how dedicated you are to want to attend BU. If you have good grades, modest activity/club involvement, leadership position(s), and nice recommendations, I think you have a great chance in getting in if you apply ED.</p>
