Various AP and Latin awards
Nine years of Cub/Boy Scouts holding all titles and getting Star Scout</p>

<p>I’m thinking the 2.5 GPA is a problem. The average GPA for accepted students this year is 3.62.</p>

<p>Is your GPA weighted or unweighted?</p>
<p>Low GPA with high test scores is a big red flag to schools - it can mean that you are smart but disengaged or lazy. If you are pulling 4’s and 5’s on that many APs, you are smart enough to be getting A’s and B’s in class.</p>
<p>Unless you have a story to explain the low GPA (or you reported unweighted, and your weighted GPA is a lot higher), or have some other hook, you may have a tough road.</p>
