Would I get in? I have a 3.75 GPA which might go up since i’m take more honors this year. Plus I’m the county rep for red cross and secretary for the artist union club and i’ve been playing on the rec soccer team for 4 years. I have more than a 100 hours of community service. i took the PSAT and i only got 1300. I just started my junior year so of course i can try to improve my SAT score. I wanna try to go to the rutgers in new brunswick to be a nutritionist

Engineering is highly competitive than other majors. Some AP credits would definitely help, such as AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC etc. It is always good to have Plan B, easier major or different school.

I stated it in the Original Post. I know engineering is very hard for Rutgers, however how about computer science? I am taking 2 AP classes and 1 Honors class at the moment.

dman a 3.15 and a decent SAT should at least get you into SAS. You can transfer into another school (eg engineering) later on, if your grades are good.

Calm down, don’t worry. Worst case scenario: you go to community college for a year and then transfer to Rutgers. I did that with pharmacy school and I graduated and I’m fine.

i wouldn’t be too sure about SAS, unless your SATs are like 1900+ or your ACTs are 28+. rualum is also right about doing CC. it’s hell of a lot easier than getting in as a freshman. all you need are 24 credits and a 3.0 minimum GPA.
