<p>Ok, so i just finished my last semester in CC before i apply to transfer and my GPA went from a 3.531 to now 3.275 because i just got off a semester taking 19 credits(6 classes) and earned a 2.8 because i got a D in Microeconomics(skipped macro my mistake and i dont even like economics) and the rest of classes i got all B's and 1 A. Basically i had alot of family issues and job problems that messed me up from hoping to get my GPA up to a 3.7 or 3.6 but couldn't. I started CC in spring 2011 got a 3.7, took 3 classes that summer(only 1 counted which was accounting, the others were maths to get my math up) Got a A in that class, then this semester got a 2.8. Im really interested in NYU im a business major but i wasnt planning on applying for stern because i know its really unlikely, im more interested in NYU CAS but know since i got a 3.2(51 credits) now i dont really think i even got a chance at that. I took USC & UMiami off my list because of my current GPA. My other schools i was interested in are Fordham, Hofstra & St John's. I think i got a good shot at both St Johns(I really want to be in NYC) & Hofstra but i feel like it would be settling for less with them. Im in the phi theta kappa if that even matters... I plan on taking 3 classes next semester, Bio 2, Spanish I, & applied calculus, did the math and if i get all A's next semester which i know i will because im that determined i'll have a 3.4 but i dont think that really matters because its not the GPA im have to put on the app. Am i still in the game for NYU?</p>
<p>If i can't i planned on just going to my state school(Va) unfortunately and enroll this summer take 5 classes, 8 classes in the fall and 8 again in spring if they let me, i honestly don't want to be there so i rather hurry and graduate</p>
