Do I have a Chance?

I’m possibly looking to transfer out of my current school. In high school, I had 4.29 GPA with a 1270 on my SATs and a 700, 690, and a 520 on my SAT IIs. I took 14 honors classes and 5 APs with 2 4s and a 3 on 3 out of 5 exams. I was a member of class government for 3 years, Model UN for 4 years (Under secretary general senior year), assistant editor of the yearbook, and National Honor Society secretary. My GPA this semester will probably be around a
3.3+.I currently am a freshman at a small LAC. I am also an out of state student. Do you think I have a chance?

Anyone? I'd appreciate your help :>

I'm not sure how your hs career will come into play but you were a well rounded student in hs and you are doing well at you current school. I would call the admissions office and talk to a counselor to check on the rquirements and to make sure your grades will transfer, but I don't see why it couldn't happen.

do you know when they will mail their decisions>
?

I have taken the only 2 courses that my school offers above the CP level (both AP English), have a 3.96 GPA unweighted, don't know what it is weighted, my class rank is 3 out of 14 in a rural public school, and got a 33 on my ACT. My SAT, which I was only able to take once, was only a 1300. I still plan on taking my SAT IIs. Being out of state, should I get in, and if i do, what kind of financial aid could i be looking at (need a lot!)?

Ok, SAT was 1960, not 1300. big difference

OSU is trying to boost its overall academic profile. My s has a similar ACT score andrecently received $35k in scholarships and is eligble for more $. Your ACT score of 33 is much better than the 1300 on the SAT. The 33 will place you in the Honors and Scholars program. Entry into the program guarantees you scholarship money and also makes a candidate for the University Scholar Maximus Competion with a top award of full in-state tuition plus expenses.

i am also out of state, and i was applying to osu as a safety school but my GC doesn't really have stats on ohio state so i can't totally be sure. i don't know what will definitely get me in since i don't live in ohio. my dad went there and i was born in columbus, however, but i don't know how much that helps. anyway, have a 740cr, 660m, and 710w (2110/1400). i also have a 3.6uw gpa but my school is rather difficult. we don't rank. i have lots of ECs as well. what do you guys think?

I think that being from HI would be a plus (geographic diversity).

well, i was just looking this over and realized i typed 1400 instead of 2400. sorry... haha. but i still can't find this site that people say has the honors criteria listed. it would seem like it would be one of those two links but either i am blind or the stats are just not there. does anyone know what they are? thanks!
