So I'm currently a junior in high school. My gpa was really high freshman and sophomore year, but it has dropped this year because my classes have been extremely hard. I've never gotten anything lower then a B+, and because my pre-calculus teacher is awful I have a C. I am in all AP and honors courses, have a 3.5 (which I plan on bringing up) and scored a 2000 on my SATs. I am ranked number 9 in my class. I am going to retake them and shoot for a 2100. I am also vice president of student council, secretary of NHS, in track, dance crew, captain of math team, founder of debate team, a member of stage crew, in green team, and am constantly doing community service. I have also been doing karate for 7 years and have a first degree black belt. I want to go into pre-law, what do you think my odds are of being accepted into Northeastern or NYU, or has this C ruined my future? Are there any other schools that would fit with my GPA and SAT scores? Also, will colleges think that I am slacking off this year because my grades are lower or will they realize it is because I am in all AP classes?

NEU: Match
NYU: High match

You can always attend NEU or NYU for law school… NEU requires a 3.5+ GPA in college and a 163+ LSAT while NYU requires a 3.7+ GPA in college and a 172+ LSAT.
