Do I have a Chance?

<p>Hey guys, I am in an awkward position. So, freshmen and sophomore year, I did not do anything and got horrible grades. Junior year, I buckled up and got myself together and got a 1 B. The twist is, that my course load was extremely difficult and my extracurriculars are very good. </p>

<p>ACT - 34
GPA (UW) 3.4 (2.8-->3.8) 4.5 Weighted
Couse load: I have taken 9 classes each year and 5 AP's 10th grade, and 6 AP's junior year.</p>

<p>EC's: Stock Market Club- Founder and President
Went to nationals for DECA
Key Club - 3 years
Varsity Tennis - 3 Years
Speech and Debate Club -President (2 years)
Speech and Debate Club- VP (1 year)
Small computer science internship for 1 summer</p>

<p>Essays: I talk about my change using a clever metaphor. PM me if you would like to know. </p>

<p>My question is simple: Do I have a chance? After I took AP Economics, I fell in love into business. I have liked subjects before and contemplated about studying those in college, but after Economics, it was clear I wanted to go into Business in Finance(hence the club I started). Do I have a shot at these business schools? </p>

NYU Stern: mid reach
UNC: mid reach
Michigan Ross: low reach </p>

Although they may be reaches due to your GPA, you still do have a chance. Just write amazing essays. good luck!:)</p>

<p>Michigan Ross would definitely be a reach. GPA is too low although you do have a good upward trend. You may try LSA first though.</p>
