Do I have a chance?

Sadly, I still haven't recieved any info from 3 colleges...I'm waiting for my decisions. Do I have a chance of getting into JHU if I didn't write any of the "optional" essays?

bumpppppppp....

everyone always has a chance Whats your stats?

i didnt do the optional essay and got in...click my past posts for my stats

if you do that, youll see that i was well below average w/o any hooks, so i think that if your common app essay was great that its pointless to do the JHU one unless you can write a better one... its by no means a disqualification not to do it

I can't really think of anything else....I have more things on my app but this is all I can think of from the top of my head...I wrote my short essay for the common app on the role of music in my life and the longer one about the conflict between my identity as a South Asian and an American.

nesa1188,
You have a chance of getting into Johns Hopkins but it is by no means certain.
Good Luck!
