-#1 ranked public HS in NJ
-3.4-3.5/40 (about a 3.7 u/w using UMich's GPA system...i completely bombed freshman year with a 2.9)
-SAT I: 730 Verbal, 720 Math...1450 combined score
-Medicore EC's
-Good teacher recommendation and good essays</p>

<p>your sat's are great.. but ur gpa may bring you down a bit. early january may be a bit early to hear... i've heard rumors hat they dont accept many people late/early january because of the holiday season. late jan/early feb may be more realistic, but don't quote me on it.</p>
<p>I think you have a good chance. You applied slightly late, but you are a top notch student with a good SAT score. I would not be shocked if you werre rejected, but I would be surprised.</p>

<p>I believe UMich doesnt take in account freshman or senior year grades when calculating your gpa, which should be to your advantage.</p>
