I’m planning to apply to Columbia RD but I feel like I should’ve tried ED instead of going for a school I don’t think I have a chance at (Yale). It takes me a really long time to write essays and I only have six weeks, so I might not apply especially since I have about 8 other colleges left to write for (all of which are easier to get in). My stats are decent-I have a 2400 SAT, 4.0 GPA, and 5’s on 16 APs which I luckily didn’t have to pay for But my extracurriculars aren’t nearly as strong: I’m the principal cellist of my youth symphony, I’ve founded a club at school, and I’m president of another one. I also have an internship at a university (journalism) but it wasn’t super time-consuming or anything. Over the summers I just went with my family on vacation. Because of this (and also because I’m Asian), I’m hesitant about applying to a school with such a low acceptance rate. What do you guys think? And sorry if I didn’t follow the rules of this site or something, I’m new
