Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Probably a pretty good shot.

---------bump

The only advice I can give you is raise that SAT score. It's that's the only thing weak I see.

gosh..ur lucky, u get affirmative action, i want that so badddd

UVAMalex09, u think i can get in with a 3.6 weighted gpa?

I thought the 3.6 was unweighted. Sorry about that. You are in the top 15% so that just means that you need to work a little harder. Since you are going in an upward trend, you can get into the top 10% like that.

lemme update that since i just got my report card:
9th and 10th grade gpa:3.57
11th grade gpa: 3.96

Top 15% is fine. It helps to go with the 'upward trend' but as of now I would still say you're probably in.

Your weighted GPA isn't important. Unweighted has more emphasis- the only real use for weighted GPAs is for class rank

those r weighted??..do u take extremely hard classes?

no, why do u say that?

cuz u.va likes hard classes, as ive heard from other posts

i think that GPA matters very littlein in college app anyways. Its all about your rank, course load, standarized test, and extras.

i been taking hard classes, but not the hardest available
