hooks:
- was diagnosed with cancer last year (recovered now), essayed about my experience and how it changed/motivated me. I also have a feeling my counselor, who I believe wrote me an excellent rec, discussed this in her letter.
- one of the few people who helped organize STUDENT-RUN statewide IB conference, people from all over TX actually came for two days to participate
- attended summer@Brown this past summer, stayed for 3 weeks…yay!

- I’ve made use of my ability in music to coach children in chamber music sessions

So overall, my class rank/GPA are pretty weak, but I’m hoping that my hooks and dedication to extracurriculars will pull me through. What do you think?
