College Summer programs: The summer before my senior year I took a two week long leadership course at Brown University.

In regards to Tulane, everything for my application (personal) was in by this monday.
Also, two of my teacher recs should be there for review, both of which are amazing!
I visited Tulane this summer and loved it, do I have a chance??
Also, there was an illness if my family keeping my grades low in my 9th and 10th grade year which my GC mentioned (at least I think he did), All A's in junior year.

Emp - I wouldn't worry about your freshman year grades. You're in the top 10% of your school regardless. Um but speaking from an adult viewpoint, there's definitely something going on with your ACT scores. 33 English and 27 overall? National Honor Society but Math/Science scores below the 80th percentile? IMO you're probably in, but Tulane tends to give the most scholarship money to applicants with very high test scores. Good luck!

Okay yeah math is by far my worst subject :/. I just work hard on it at school in order to get good grades in it, but my test scores still aren't the best in that area.
Thanks for the chance, I really appreciate it.

Hey...thanks for chancing me! :)
So looks like we both went early app. to Tulane today (Monday)!
I think you really have a great shot.
Your grades are decent and your ACT is decent also...
Weird...we both went to Brown's summer program too... :)
Maybe we will be roomies at Tulane!
Good-Luck! :)

thanks, and lets hope so! :)

what course did you do at brown?? !

Human Rights :)

oh neat. Well, I just heard back so maybe will could be roomies haha.
