Looks like you 've got a solid shot. RD or ED? And what is your unweighted GPA?

ED1 I'm not quite sure about my unweighted maybe 3.6

Also they asked me to send in my 1st semester grades which weren't that good
Do you think that will greatly affect my chances?

A 3.6 is obviously very good, but will hardly overwhelm at Tufts, and poor grades your first term of senior year would definitely be considered a negative. How many APs are you taking, and what are they?

I'm taking AP English, AP Calc BC, AP Euro, AP Chem, and AP Physics
I got As in English and Calc but I got a B- in chem, B in euro, and B+ in physics

I don't think those grades are bad, especially given that you are taking really challenging courses. I'll stick with my first call: you have a solid shot.

Thanks so much

how much would an interview help someone like this? Is it worth doing/necessary? will it affect scholarships?

Sounds like Sheldon is in one of the NJ publics where there tends to be grade deflation....a 3.6UW in the top 5% in the Iron Hills conference is a decent GPA....

match for Tufts..

I had an interview and it was pretty interesting
I actually cried- have no idea why...it might have been my nerves or that we talked about very personal topics but she was great about it
She said that interviews can only help you and that they are there to basically show more interest
The interview is definitely worth doing
