Hi,
I am a white girl, which I know lowers my chances of getting in.
my GPA is a 3.9, but my SAT scores are only 2050. I am taking a course over the summer to get my SAT scores up. do you think if i got higher SAT scores, maybe around 2200, I could have a chance?

LOL, if you think whites are disadvantaged, you haven’t met an Asian.

More seriously, you need more than high GPA and Sats to have a good chance. In fact, I dare venture to say that those numbers are the prerequisites to get in Columbia. On top of marks and scores, you need to have dedicated extracurriculars, brilliant essays, good teacher recs, and an interesting personality behind it all. Gook luck!
