so i went to montreal this summer and absolutely loved it. i would looove to go to mcgill, but i'm not sure if i should get my hopes up.
i'm a junior at a competitive jesuit high school (in the us)
uw gpa: probably around a 3.7-3.8 on a 4.0 scale, i'm not sure ours is different
sats: taken in january, 630 cr, 590 m, 610w
i'm planning on taking a few classes and have already scored in the 1900s on practice tests since, but are my scores too low to even have a chance?
oh and 5+ aps if that counts
thanks much for the help :)

Honestly everybody has a chance. (No offense to you or anything) but I think everyone who wants to go should apply, you never know what will happen.

I def think you should try the ACT. You might score a lot better. =]

Yeah, I liked the ACT a lot better, and got a little better score.

I got a 1920 on the SAT

I got a 31 on the ACT

Just focus on the SAT (or ACT if you want to try that) and I think you’ll have a great chance at getting in.

I personally scored better on the SAT showing the variability of the tests. I think you have a chance for sure. I got in with a 3.5 gpa and 2000 SAT. I did have the hardest course load possible at my school, though.
