I have only finished 1 AP my sophomore year but didn’t pass it :(

The rest are all IB classes, which I had pretty much straight As in. My 9-10th grade hurts my GPA so much but as I said, I have shown significant improvement by doing alot better in even more rigorous courses during 11th grade.

FSU is not really a backup nor my first-choice for sure. I’m still considering and waiting from others.

Btw, the GPA which I posted above is not my unweighted GPA. That is the GPA which I’ve calculated according to FSU standards. It seems a little below the average and that’s why I’m worried, considering that the second deadline is much more competitive.

Is your FSU gpa 3.5, or 3.7? 3.7 would give you a solid chance of admission. 3.5 would be a little bit more difficult, but certainly within the realm of possibility.

You’re totally right. I made this thread because I had a bad feeling, and I needed to know where I stand. Perhaps I just wanted to know how much more competitive is admissions during the second round.

Haha this is a nerve-racking time. I know when each of my deadlines were coming up (UCF, USF, FSU, and UF) I was looking to see how my stats stacked up, constantly comparing it to other people. Sometimes it helps to talk about it or get another opinion :)

Good luck qwerty111. Hope to see you there (if FSU is where you end up deciding to go).

If I get admitted, FSU is most likely where I’ll end up going. I’m worried because I still don’t have the 200$ showing up in my account statement, lol.
