Do I have a decent chance of being accepted into the University of Washington?

Were the people without AP classes accepted this year? And are you sure it was UW Seattle? The school’s becoming much harder to get into nowadays…

Oh, and something I forgot to mention: My 1980 score was actually from my SECOND attempt. My first attempt resulted in a 1920 (610 CR, 700 M, 610 W).

In this context, should I even go for a third attempt in October? I actually planned my second test horribly, leaving no time for me to study. I’m sure I could easily score over 2000 if I just thoroughly prepared for the test. But…you know

Yeah it was this year. But now that I think about it, they got into the Bothell campus. Close, but no cigar. So I dunno. You’ve got a shot, for sure. If you could get above 2000 SAT it would be good

Should I go for a third attempt at the SAT? My current, second attempt is already on the borderline between UW’s 75th percentile and their top 25th percentile. I’m sure I could score above 2000, but I don’t want to look like a try-hard.

I think you have a decent chance. My stats are very similar to yours and I got accepted. So I guess you should just make sure that your essays are awesome!

What year were you admitted? And are you in-state?

I got admitted this year and yes I’m in state. I’m actually going there in September.

Hmmm okay. In what ways were your stats different than mine?
