I'm a sophomore in high school and I know it's kind of early but I would really like to start looking at colleges, and I would like to try to get into Ohio State University (seeing as it's in state and cheaper).

Right now, my weighted GPA is about a 3.6 and my unweighted GPA is a 3.25.
Last year (my freshman year), my GPA averaged to about a 3.6. I've taken Algebra 1, Honors Geometry, and am currently taking Honors Algebra 2. In science, I've taken Honors Biology and am currently taking Honors Chemistry. In English, I've taken Honors English 9 & am currently taking Honors English 10. In language, I took Spanish 1 last year and am currently taking Spanish 2. In social studies, I've taken World Study & am currently taking US History. I took economics online, and am taking government next semester. I've also already taken 1 full year of fine arts and health, and I've played soccer for my school for 2 years which gets me out of Phys Ed.

I would like to get into OSU, what other classes do you recommend I take? Also, just so you know my career path, I would like to be a pediatrician (Which means that next year, I will be most likely taking AP Anatomy as a science class, etc). Do you know any majors that OSU offers in medicine?

As for extracurriculars, I played soccer for my school for this year and last (prev. stated) and I have played piano since I was 4.

Also, this summer, I plan on interning at a local hospital, and I will definitely have enough community service hours by the end of my high school years.
Do you know of anything else I could do (extracurriculars, interning) that would help me get into OSU?

I'm not sure if this helps at all, but I'm an asian female from Ohio.

Another college I was considering applying to is University of Cincinnati (good med program, closer to my house, but more expensive b/c private), but I would much rather go to OSU.

Do you think I have a good chance of being accepted into OSU?
