I applied as a computer science major
GPA: Weighted: 3.78 Unweighted: 3.63
SAT: Math 800, Reading 590, Writing 680
SAT 2: MAth 2: 730, korean: 780

EC: Journalism for 2 years, (Subeditor for 1)
Marching band for 2 years

This school is my dream school, so i was really hoping I would get in. Do I have a good chance?

U of R does not admit by major. In fact, you are not even allowed to declare your major until after your second semester.

I think it could go either way for you, since your weighted GPA is on the lower side compared to your unweighted (suggests lack of course rigor, but i don’t know how your school weights, so this might not be actually true). Your SAT reading is also on the low side. All’s I can say is good luck!
