<p>I really dont want to discourage you but your SAT verbal score has a great chance of hindering your admission to VT. Id say if you can get your verbal score atleast to a 500 +/- 20pts, you should be admitted because of your strong Math score.</p>
<p>That verbal score is just awful. You can surely do better. Retake the SAT and get at least a 500 (seriously, many species of ape can score 500+ w/0 prep).</p>
<p>You've got a very good shot, though. You're clearly capable in areas that you find interesting, but that verbal leads be to believe that you're lazy when it comes to things you don't like.</p>

<p>Yea, your verbal part of you SAT is pretty bad but just apply because you have nothing to lose. There is always a chance.</p>
<p>try downloading a dictionary onto a ti89 or something</p>
