Study Abroad

I will be studying abroad in Abu Dhabi, UAE this coming spring semester to begin research on economic growth in the Gulf.

Financial Aid

I currently get ~$50,000/year is scholarships/grants from NYU. I grew up with my single mother, who makes very little money. My father makes a six-figure salary, but NYU didn't ask for his information. Will Georgetown ask for it? What are my chances of getting a scholarship at the same high level as I have at NYU? I know it seems silly to want to transfer with such a generous package, but I want a better IR/Foreign Policy program, and I want to live in DC.

Thanks, any help is much appreciated.

Any opinions?

I’d say you it’s a high-match/low reach
But I do not think you’ll be getting as many scholarships/grants that NYU has given you

Yea, FA is my biggest concern. But it’s whatever if I don’t get it. I’ll be happy at NYU I guess.
