Do I have a good shot at this school?

Hey guys, could you please give a little of your time to give your opinion on my chances of admission to UCLA?
Here are my stats:

Not sure about my unweighted sorry!
And I haven't taken the SAT yet but I imagine its about 2000 if not a little higher

I am only taking 5 classes during senior year, but 4/5 are aps

Yes you’ve got a great chance if you get above 2000

Meh, GPA matters a lot more. Just glancing at the grades, it looks pretty good. It may be worth finding out how many people from your school usually get in to UCLA and comparing that with your class rank, especially if you’re at a CA public.

You’re a “match” if you attain an SAT of 2030.

Well 16 people were accepted last year, and my class rank is 16 haha. But my year is a little more competitive than last years

What makes it more competitive? How do you know it’s not less competitive?

just because the seniors last year seemed to be not at the same level as the class before them or our class. they’re much more people in IB and MUN and such in our grade than an ours. And it also seems like our class has more students with a better worth ethic. But then again I’m biased and have no real proof that its more competitive. just speculation…

you have a good chance if ur SAT scores are at least 2000…u should be able to get into berkeley and/or ucla
