<p>Hey, I am a Nigerian and thus do not know much about the whole US admission process. I want to apply early action (2014) to some top tier schools. Can anyone be kind enough to tell me my chances of getting accepted into MIT, Princeton and Cornell? I listed some of my scores, achievements, etc below.</p>
<p>Test Scores:
SAT: 2360 (800 Math, 800 Writing and 760 Critical)
SAT subject tests: 700 Math I, 720 Physics
WAEC: As in Math, English and Geography. Bs in the rest (Physics, Chemistry, Economics, etc) </p>
<p>My high school doesn't use the GPA system but I was in the top ten percent of my grade (5th to be precise)</p>
<p>Awards: Awards for best in Physics and Technical Drawing in my class.</p>
<p>Clubs/Activities: Group Leader of Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists club, member of drama club, assistant captain of school's varsity athletics team, member of high school's literary and debating society, member of high school's athletics team, Captain of high school's blue house athletics team, health prefect of high school, developed a fully functional capacitor for my high school's community science day program.</p>
<p>Outside school: Worked under the former chief economic adviser to the president of Nigeria as a volunteer for the center for growth and development, I run a blog, I co founded a start up company (clothing line), repairing electronics for fun, Computer programming (I can program in C++, Java and PHP), HTML certified, CSS certified, I created a music player that runs on windows using JavaFX, I have written four books (a novel, two poetry books and a Quantitative reasoning book for primary schools) , I can play the guitar and I know three languages (English, Yoruba and Esperanto).</p>
<p>I posted this early cause I figured if you guys had any suggestions of activities I should do / skills I should learn that could improve my chances, there would be enough time for me to pick them up.</p>
