Ok, I want to go to Brown and I just want to know if I have a shot:
-12 APs in total (possibly 11, Calc BC not sure if I'll take) taken AP Physics, AP languange, AP literature, AP Latin, AP Calculus, AP Stat, AP Euro, AP US Hist, etc.
-honors/AP whenever possible, only regular classes I've taken were required by my school
-A in every class except AP Calculus, got a B (not including island school mentioned below)
-unweighted GPA 3.79
-top 10% of my public highschool class
-SATs 2220: 800 Math, 720 Reading, 650 Writing
-No sports, but I'm in Junior Classical League, GAPP Club (a human rights club), BETA Club
-Volunteering: Habitat for Humanity I've volunteered who knows how many hours, for a few years now, both on builds, at fundraisers, and in their office doing advertising and computer work
-I spent one semester sophomore year at a program called Island School in the Bahamas, integrated curriculum (math was called celestial navigation), trained for and ran a half-marathon during the semester, had a 48-hour solo alone on a beach, etc. However, I got straight B's at IS. All classes were honors, though
-Brown is totally my first choice; i visited it sophomore year, sat in on classes junior year, and have been wanting to go there since before freshman year
