Listen, check out Wichita State university. I worked at IT help desk for 26 yrs. great kids and a great stem program. i’ll put u in touch with Randy Clements in compsci. he’ll set u straight.

Wow great minds must think alike because I emailed him about the STEM program there yesterday, thanks though @DedicatedParent4

Wow great profile. What type of articles did you publish in? Were they news or peer reviewed scientific journals?

If you are interested in Neuroscience and engineering - no better place than Duke

@sgopal2 Thanks, one of the articles was about self-deception relating to social pressure and the MPFC, the other two were related to self-enhancement/overclaiming. I wish I could go to Duke, can’t afford it :frowning:

The endowment at Cooper Union has come under a lot of strain in recent years. I’m sure you already know this, but you’ll have to pay 1/2 tuition plus room/board and other fees at Cooper Union.

Duke has several full tuition + board scholarships – in particular look at the Robertsons Scholars. You would have a good shot. You need to apply for Robertsons separately though.

@sgopal2 how would you size me up with Duke? Also, I am looking at Cooper Union because I could commute from home

You’ve got a great chance at Duke. Definitely apply

Oh yeah. u bet your britches
