I have a 4.46 GPA
I got a 29 on my ACT and an 1860 on my SAT
I'm involved in my school's band program
I've already taken six AP classes and will be taking 4-5 next year.
I've gotten As in all of my classes except for AP Chem, which I got a C in.

So, do I have a shot?

You’re GPA & classes are very strong, good job on that. I’d get a little more involve in extra curriculars & raise you’re scores a tad. Otherwise I’d say you have a great shot

Your scores are fine for admission. Only worry about raising them if you are looking for a merit scholarship.

Make sure your math sub scores are high… that seemed to be a strong indicator if a student was accepted/denied this past year.

Are you in state? If you are, your GPA is above average & your ACT is on point! You definitely have shot, but I would try to incorporate more ECs with leadership and community service. If all of your “extras” (essay, recs, ECs, community service, etc.) are good then I would say GATech is a match!

I’m out of state. I forgot to mention I’m involved in my school’s National Honor Society and volunteer at the local animal shelter and am planning on volunteering at the local hospital as well.
