you're SAT needs to be higher, that's really the only major flaw

I know people with worse resumes that got in.

^
Look I was being helpful!

Gosh that hurt.

^ lol what? are u being sarcastic or something like i have no chance and ur trying to be nice or what

thanks philly08. im trying to get it up to 1400 in oct

I know people who got worse SAT's than you and were not recruited for anything and are happily in the SAS.

whats the SAS and why do i have the feeling thats not a helpful comment

SAS is the School of Arts and Sciences.

You have a feeling that the previous comment wasn't helpful because jcoveney is extremely sarcastic and doesn't realize that internet sarcasm usually just makes you look like a dickhead. or he's just a dickhead.

I'd say being holier than thou on the internet, and taking a forum wayy too seriously, makes you look like more of a dick.

And I was being serious.

This is a serious zone.

There are people with far worse stats.

Who are doing fine at Penn.

The degradation of this thread brought to you by TripMcnealy.

Penn: no chance.

thanks for clearing that up. yea, internet sarcasm is very hard to comprehend

haha

anyone else?

I was the opposite of you--I had a stellar SAT score and an abysmal (by Penn standards) GPA. So perhaps one can balance out the other. Applying is definitely worth a shot.

^ did you get in?

and how are my SAT scores abysmal?

You definitely have a chance...and being first generation certainly helps. If you are only a junior you have plenty of time to get your SAT in Math up and also add to your resume.

Good luck.

im a senior
