I want to major in Communications at Annenberg, Fall 2010, but I don't know if I'm competitive enough.

I'm a California CC student with IGETC-certified 60+ units plus a Liberal Arts (Social Science emphasis) and French AA. My overall GPA is 3.6 (boo non-transferable Math class that killed me), but my UC-transferable GPA is 3.85.

In terms of extra-curricular activities:
- Media intern at local city newspaper
- Intern for California governor candidate
- Student government Exec. Officer of Marketing & Information
- Student government newspaper editor-in-chief
- High school National Honor Society president
- Marketing/Youth relations head for non-profit committee
- Marathon runner
- 300+ volunteer hours since high school
- Paid position as college ambassador/orientation leader

Do I have a chance? And if not, how about Pepperdine?

Thanks!
