I toured UW-Madison earlier this summer and fell in love with the school. I am a resident of Wisconsin, and by Madison’s standards am a sub par student. I have a 3.38 unweighted gpa and a 27 ACT score. My class rigor is high, being in advanced math all four years of highschool and will have 6 AP classes by the time I graduate. I am in the top 20% of my class. I am highly involved with extracurricular activities, I am our school’s DECA president and have competed at the state and national level. I play varsity volleyball and track all four years of highschool. I am in our school’s student council, participate in Spanish club and political debate club. I wrote and edited my two essays for over a month and had my AP Lit teacher review and revise them multiple times for me. I have two very, very good letters of recommendations from an AP Teacher, and a marketing teacher who is also my DECA adviser. I applied four days after the application was released. Really just looking at a second opinion, so what do you guys think? What are my chances looking like?
I also have a part time job as a sales associate about 20 hours a week if that makes any difference
