Hello this is my first post on these forums and I wanted to get some comments on whether or not I have a chance at getting into UGA. Im currently a Junior in second semester and we just recently got our transcripts that listed our cumulative GPA. Mine was a 3.333. I have taken a total of 3 AP classes so far and I am taking 4 more senior year. My question is is the 3.333 cumulative gpa with the (.5) added to AP classes or without.

Now if it is with then my gpa seems low for UGA because on their web the average seems to be 3.7-3.8. I have not taken the SAT or ACT yet but I plan to try hard for those in order to make up for my low gpa. I have few extracurricular activities/community service but they include:
9th: Latin Club, Table Tennis Team, Science Fiction club, Rec Basketball, Guitar Lessons, (80 volunteer hours at a church camp for a Latino drug awareness group)
10th: Latin club, Science Fiction Club, Rec Basketball, Guitar Lessons, (Same Camp, Same hours)
11th:Odyssey of the Mind, Rec Basketball,(possibly another club/activity by the end of the semester), (Same camp/same hours) I also plan to get a summer job.
12th: Plan to take a whole lot more if it even matters at this point.

With all that in mind (I know its alot, sry) is there a decent enough chance of me getting into UGA? If my GPA is too low would a high enough SAT/ACT score balance it out? Im looking to go into Computer Science and I know GA Tech is better for that but getting in there is even harder. If anyone knows another good Computer Science School that I have a chance at then by all means suggest it to me. Ty.

(btw, im also in state and qualify for the HOPE scholarship)
