Do I have a shot of getting into UT Austin?

Don’t dish it if you can’t take it. I really don’t even know why you keep posting, you have no experience at all in what you’re talking about regarding admissions.

Just seems like if you wanted to help the OP you wouldnt comment on things you “felt” could not help the OP.

One gains this “experience” by going through the application process and getting accepted :)

^^And by graduating with multiple degrees from UT, as opposed to a high school “wannabe” who claims to be an aggy admit.

To say what everyone else has been saying, your best shot is to raise the test scores. Admissions to UT outside of top 10% is undoubtedly hard, but it can be done.

Pierrchn–Please refrain from PM’ing me. They are unwelcome. Be upfront and ask a question in open forum, IF you have a pertinent one.
BTW, the PM’s title, “d---------------------1111------------6–=-==–K”.
is a nice touch–too bad I’m a woman, idoit.

As to how this could pertain to the OP, Pierrechn queried me as to what multiple degrees I have. If Pierrechn had a modicum of reading/comprehension skills that could span over the course of a few weeks, he would recall that I have an Accounting and a Law degree from UT. Thus, I have the “experience” necessary to hopefully aid someone who legitimately wants to attend UT.

OP–you should be in a good spot for acceptance next year given the decrease in auto admits and more holistic acceptance procedures. Your Math SAT score is outstanding. If anything, perhaps try and improve your class rank these next few weeks before the end of your junior year. Good luck. :)

Accounting and Law? pretty cool, i respect that. Idk how you expected me to know you had those degrees though. When did you get those degrees? ( year )

QUIT PM’ing ME, YOU LITTLE ■■■■■. I HAVE ALERTED CC. PERHAPS THEY WILL FINALLY GET RID OF YOU.

your not the only person i pm’d

@pierrechn

(I’ll just reply here)

cool a handful of people got in with GPAs in the 3.4s

I’m aware. Except I was accepted last semester and had solid essays as well as resume.
