I just went on a visit to Dartmouth and I fell in love with it! I know I'm not a super strong applicant, but I would like to know if I even have a chance RD? I've already applied...but that's besides the point.

I'm hoping my essays set me a part from the rest of the candidates that have higher scores/GPAs

I’d say you have a great shot. SAT IIs are a tad low, but ECs, grades, and essays look great. And I’m assuming you’re applying ED, which can only help.

Thanks! I’m taking the Bio-M SAT II, so hopefully I can impress them with that score?
And I’m applying RD just because I’m not sure if Dartmouth would be my number 1 yet.

Hahahahaha I was hoping no one would notice that!! I tried to edit my post after I submitted but I couldn’t find a link to do it
And my applications have zero spelling errors I promise you I’ve already submitted them all ;)

Pretty strong - you look like an average white guy, but if you’re applying to Dartmouth, that’s probably not the case. If the recs and the essays are good, I don’t see why not.

It looks like you’re a strong applicant for dartmouth. even though some might say your scores are on the lower end, i think other areas of your application will make up for it. after all, colleges COULD accept all 2400 students if they wanted to, but they don’t.

I say that you have a good shot at dartmouth, especially ED.

You’re test scores are probably just at dartmouth range or a bit lower, but it won’t hurt you that much. (I think SAT II US History score is glaring tho)
Essays and recs are crucial espeically when you are applying to an ivy school, and i think you won’t have a problem with those.
I also think by the fact that you ran your own business, you’ll have an advantage over those who didn’t…
If you love dartmouth, go for it!!!
