<p>I’d say you have a very good chance at Colgate, particularly because you combine strong academics with other interests, particularly athletics, kind of a Colgate “thing”. Have you made any contact with the athletic department, talked to a Colgate running or tennis coach, or let anyone know about your athletic abilities? You might want to do that, and if they like you a lot and need someone like you, you might have an ally in the admissions process. </p>

<p>But, as I always say, admissions are kind of a funny thing, and you really do never know who they will want and why they don’t always admit people you are sure they would admit. So, you never know . . . but you surely cannot be admitted unless you apply. I think you have a very good chance, though, at Colgate. Good luck!</p>
