Right now there is no question the SAT is your weak point. Not sure what you would need to get it to in order to have solid chances, but I would say 1900 or better. Other than that your record seems like a decent match.
Have you considered trying the ACT instead of the SAT? It’s a different kind of test and many kids find they score significantly higher. Good luck!
@Calvin8493004 -Make sure that you tell the Tulane admission folks (in your essay or elsewhere) that Tulane is your dream college and that you’ll definitely attend if admitted. And I agree with @fallenchemist about the kind of boost your SAT’s require and with @DebmomMY about trying the ACT.
If you do take the ACT, practice the Science section at home as much as you can before test day. Even non-scientists tend to agree that the questions themselves aren’t hard but the time limits make that section tough to finish. So if you’re familiar with the format and types of questions ahead of time (and with where to look for the answers in the questions themselves) you may find that you score very well, which in turn will lift your entire Composite score.
