Well what do u think about my chances
I also want to ask.
Does being recognised as one of the best mathematicians in your nation help.

I think you have a great shot. I'm also applying there and I'm an international student as well. F&M seem to be very generous towards internationals so financial aid won't be quite a problem. Your SAT score fits very well the requirements of F&M. As to best matematician in the nation, you know good matematicians are recognized anywhere so good for you and good luck ! :)

You should be accepted based upon your outstanding class rank and standardized test scores. A 760 SAT in math is not indicative of being one of the best in math for any country; it would, however, show that you are one of the best at math in your school. Top 2% is great, but not worth claiming to be one of the best at math in a country. Might be better to state that you have a very high aptitude for math based on a national competition which placed you in the top 2% of your country. US engineering schools see 760 SATs quite frequently, and, although you may not be an engineering student, it is not as rare as you may think (especially with the SAT II tests which often have higher math scores). Anyway, you are in at F&M in my opinion.
