Based on my resume do i have a legitamite shot of getting in to Va tech?

by the way im out of state as well if that matters....

What major are you interested in?

interested in business major but not entirely sure what specific one. Leaning towards finance, marketing, or accounting

I dunoo.....v-tech is getting harder and harder...

i think you got a good chance. i know tons of kids who got in with similar stats to yours and i live in NoVa where it seems to be more competitive to get into VT.

I think you have a pretty good shot! Probably 80%, maybe take the SAT again if you want to help ensure your admission, but right now things are looking pretty good :-)

Good luck!

If you can bring up your SATs you are in

I'm currently a rising senior in Pamplin and I would recommend retaking the SATs and making sure you get that GPA up to around a 4.0. You're definately an 80% shot for general admission, but if you want direct admission into the business school and not have to deal with all the applications, class restriction, etc. I'd get that SAT above 1200.

I think you have a great shot as long as you don't apply for Engineering or Architecture.

thanks everyone for your input, im taking SATs and ACT's again, hopefully i can boost both of them so i dont have to worry as much
