Do I have a shot?....

I applied early decision to College of Engineering and alternate to Arts and Sciences.

Asian male from PA
School: Top few in the state
Rank: School doesn't rank, Counselor will probably just put top 10%
GPA: Weighted 3.81(Scaled, A in AP is 5.0)
SAT I: 800 Math, 680 Reading, 800 Writing(Superscored), One Sitting 2210
SAT II: Math Level IIC-760, Chemistry-740
AP: Computer Science A(5), Calc AB(4, school doesn't offer BC to juniors), English(4), Spanish(3, ugh...)
Current APs: Chemistry, Statistics, Macro Economics, English.
ECs: National Honor Society(Vice President), Math Honor Society, Academic Team. I also helped form a robotics club at my school this year. Volunteered at local hospital and worked with their computers(data entry, etc), vounteered at local library for a Summer Reading program(increase reading awareness sort of thing). ECs are nothing special though I won an award at the hospital for my work.
Recs: Nothing short of excellent. My essay were also very good, but nothing memorable per se.

Like I said I applied ED and just found this forum recently. Do I have a good chance or is it a long shot? My grades are not stellar, but I'm hoping my SATs and my essay will leave me a fighting chance. Other than Cornell, what other top colleges can I call "realistic" schools?

Any input is appreciated. Be as honest and as critical as possible please...

I will be honest. You have a shot.

I was browsing the ED decisions from last year, and it seems like cornell puts a lot of emphasis on EC/difficulty of course load/intangibles than they do on stats like SATS and GPA, you have the bench mark scores, but your lack of significant ECs may hinder you. I would say 25% chance you are in.

thanks. anyone else?

For engineering 60%
