Do I have a shot?

<p>Hello, I am a high school senior that goes to a small town high school (about 1000 students).With these stats(below), what are my chances are of getting admitted into Washu, JHU, UofChic, Northwestern, UPENN, SLU, UOf I-urbana champ, or NYU?</p>

ACT-29- (is not good but will be taking again
Rank-9 out of 189
I take the hardest classes offered-will be taking AP CALC and AP English Lit
E.C. High School Tennis team-3yrs
Vice President-National Honors Society
Member of National Mathematics Honors Society
Member of student council
Several school awards
I volunteer at my local hospital....I also have been interning there.
I have been accepted/plan to attend the High School Summer Scholars Program at Washington University in St. Louis</p>

<p>I want to major in Accounting and go Premed....</p>

<p>Does attending an okay(not solid) high school affect ur position when it comes to admissions?</p>

you kinda sound like me haha. well, if anything from what i have learned its that for schools like JHU (my top choice), you need a stellar school rank. also, like you said, i would take the ACT again. maybe find some more EC’s too.</p>
