i know my SAT II's are a little weak and my EC's are good but havent been around for very long (mostly because I moved after freshmen year). Do I stand a good chance?

Just fyi, you do know that 690 is around the 40th percentile right? Not saying that you don’t have a chance.

thats why im sayin i understand my SAT II’s are low… im just hoping other stuff can counter-act that but i just dont know

I’d aim a bit lower.

I’m sorry but top 10% of your 100 person school doesn’t make the cut for Princeton

my school only reports in 10% intervals… i could be number 1 or 10 and they wouldnt know the difference

Don’t listen to these guys - you never know. 34 ACT is awesome, your grades are great, SAT IIs don’t really matter that much. Just apply to a variety of schools and you’ll get in somewhere great. If not princeton, then brown, or dartmouth, etc.

I’m with abeltasman48. I’m from a small, private, catholic (etc.) school, too; these types of schools are pretty competitive, and because the class sizes are so small, only so many kids can fit into the top 10%. But whether you’re in the top 10% of your class or not, your rank, in your case, won’t count as much as the rest of your package. There’s always hope  Your crazy ACT score proves that you know what you’re doing!

I think you definitely have a chance. I scored pretty low on my SAT II Lit test also but did well on others so I’m kind of nervous :/

Just try! The worst Princeton can do is deny you, right? And your act’s were great. But I don’t think divorced parents will help. Haha.

Always have a backup plan though
